Why recruitment AI is high-risk

Annex III, point 4: Employment

The AI Act explicitly classifies AI in employment as high-risk. Annex III, point 4 specifically mentions: AI systems for recruiting or selecting persons (advertising, filtering, assessing applications), and AI making decisions about promotion, dismissal, task allocation, or monitoring of workers.
