The European AI Office

The European AI Office (Art. 64) was established within the European Commission and plays a central role in enforcing the AI Act. The office oversees general-purpose AI models (GPAI), coordinates between national authorities, and develops guidelines and codes of practice. The AI Office can also conduct investigations and take enforcement measures against providers of GPAI models.
